Banana Bread
This recipe for banana bread yields the moistest, tastiest loaf with a ton of banana flavor. Why would you sacrifice banana flavor? My recipe is well-liked by family and friends, who deem it to be the best. It is delicious when toasted. Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas
Directions
Step 1
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan very lightly.
Step 2
In a big bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda. In a different big bowl, combine butter and brown sugar and blend with an electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs and mashed bananas; mix thoroughly. Just combine the flour mixture with the banana mixture. Fill the prepared loaf pan with the batter.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Bread should cool in the pan for ten minutes before being removed to finish cooling on a wire rack.
